Tatted Heart Doily

Recently, I decided to take one of my old patterns and see what else I could do with it. One of the ideas I had resulted in this little doily. I’m often surprised how putting multiple of the same motifs together can create something quite different than the original. I was really pleased with how this idea worked out.

Here’s the original pattern: Clover drop heart

This is a beginner pattern and requires two shuttles. I used Lizbeth size 40 thread, and the doily is about 4-1/4 inches in diameter (11 cm).
