In order to make things easier for my brothers, my sisters, and I financially at Christmas time, we take turns giving to each others' families. A few years ago I had my brother and his wife, Robyn, for Christmas. This is the doily I tatted for her. The pattern was a gift from my wonderful friend, Sheila, and was a lot of fun to tat. It's simply seven of the same motif tatted together, with a simple edging around the outside. Here's a close-up of the motif.
This is also one of those tatting projects that taught me that I should never scan tatting unless it's on a black or a blue background. If I could scan it again, I would.
