I made this doily for a friend for a house-warming gift. Unfortunately, I've been rather slow with it, and I think she's been in her new house for a year now. It's the thought that counts, right?
The variegated thread is Manuela, size 20, and the ecru thread was a gift to me. The ecru thread appeared to be rather old, but fortunately, it was still strong. The pattern is called "Whip Cream Frill" and is found in Tatting Doilies and Edgings edited by Rita Weiss.
