Sometimes the ladies at work have a Christmas gift exchange in December. We each buy or make something under $15 then meet in the cafeteria. We draw numbers, then each person takes her turn selecting one of the gifts. This past year I made this sewing kit. It was a big hit, and my friend who picked it was thrilled. She keeps her cross-stitch supplies in it now.
This kit was made from the Sew on the Go pattern. It went together quickly, and was a lot of fun to make. In fact, I've made a second one out of different colors of gingham for my mother for her birthday in July.
