I found it!! I thought I'd lost the photograph of this old quilt, but I found it today. This is the very first quilt I've ever made. When I married my first husband, one of the gifts I received was a kit for this quilt. I really liked the colors, and thought it would be fun to put together. It took me four years to get to it, though. I went to the library and checked out Georgia Bonesteel's book on lap quilting and taught myself. I remember taking my little girl to the park and I'd quilt while she played. For some reason, which I can't remember other than it was a good one, my husband got this in the divorce. Due to some ugly circumstances, the quilt was taken from his home along with all his other possessions, so I will never see it again. I'm just glad I have a record of it.
Isn't it interesting how quilts always seem to have a story?
