I love looking at photographs of snowflakes, and once in a while when the snow here is the right kind, I love to see them on my gloves and sleeves. They are absolutely fascinating to me.
This month I had another bout of designer's block, so I thought I'd just surf online and see what I could find in the way of snowflake photographs. I found this really great snowflake site, Snowcrystals.com, and I found my inspiration for this month's design! Here's the snowflake this tatted snowflake is based on. Isn't it just amazing? (I mean the snowflake, not the pattern.)
Besides, with all this snow we're having in Colorado (about 35 inches in the last month!), I thought it appropriate to do a snowflake.
This pattern was tatted with size 30 DMC Cebelia thread. It is beginner level and uses one shuttle, two if you prefer not to use the shoelace trick.
