Sometimes I just doodle, especially when I'm in meetings at work. It may look like I'm not listening, but for some reason I can listen a lot better when my hands are busy.
One day this week, I was doodling spirals, and it occurred to me that would be an interesting shape to tat. It was a small step from there to decide to make a tatted snail, and it was such fun to put together! I hope you enjoy this little guy as much as I did.
This pattern was tatted with size 30 DMC Cebelia thread. It is beginner level and uses one shuttle.
